There's Always a First...

Well I am back from Turkey, and I promise to blog about it soon, but the past few days have been filled with finishing up finals and preparing for Galilee this coming Monday. We leave on Monday up to Galilee where we will spend about 10 days. We will be learning about the events that happened there, hanging out on the beach, bonfires, and dancing, I'm sure, as well. It is said that it will be not only a highlight of the semester but of our lives so I'm looking forward to it. I will try to write more about Turkey later but for now I just wanted to inform those of you who didn't know that in roughly 12 to 13 hours I will be running my first 10k! I am really excited but also worried for a couple reasons. Number 1, the weather is predicted to be very rainy tomorrow and if you've ever been to Jerusalem you know that the stone in the Old City and on the sidewalks can get very slippery very easily. Number 2, I also have a paper due tomorrow night for the final in my Palestine class. Number 3, I am not in shape and not prepared at all. Those will make for an interesting experience tomorrow! I'll let you all know how it goes!

Here's the link for the sight for the marathon if any of you happen to be interested in checking it out:
